At The Wedding Shop we pride ourselves on offering an in-house alterations and bespoke service. If you’re seeking to truly personalise your gown we can help bring your vision and ideas to life! We work closely with our clients to create a unique look that tells your own story, shows your own individual style and personality.
Everything from adding a beaded strap to making sleeves or adding layers of sparkle tulle or a lace overskirt. Pregnancy, weight loss/gain are all in a day’s work for us so trust us to make your dress fit like a glove even if you have changed size since your original order. You are in safe hands.

The alterations felt like they had always been part of my dress. Looking at the first "yes" photo of photos of dress on my wedding day still makes me cry happy tears. From start to finish, I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Not only did The Wedding Shop help me find the most beautiful dress, they also transformed it into my dream dress! With a warm welcome into the shop for the first time, Emily took me and my group upstairs to start trying on dresses in a private and quiet area. She effortlessly helped me pick out "The one" and after celebrating with some bubbles, we went through the modifications I wanted.
Because I wanted quite a modest dress, the dress I picked was a strappy square neck fitted dress with a low back. So quite a bit needed modifying to make it modest! But during my fittings with the lovely Aimee, she made me feel like no hassle at all! With every ask I had, she creatively came up with a beautiful design, especially for the back and sleeves! It was always a pleasure to go back to the shop, even though I lived about 1.5 hours away, Aimee shared some tips and tricks on how to stand and walk in my dress and she made sure I was happy with everything. When I wasn't at the shop, Aimee and her dream team of seamstresses sent me photos of the progress before stitching everything in place.

From the first visit in October last year when I said yes to the dress, to my final fitting just a few weeks ago, it felt like you were really there along my whole wedding planning journey and you couldn't have made it smother or more enjoyable.
